TV arrived a few days ago, so I’ve just had a chance to hook it up and watch a couple of movies.

Picture quality is great (I have a very bright room with lots of skylights and windows) and was easy to set up. It’s a glass highly reflective screen, so I think if you have windows or lights directly in front of the screen you may get a glare issue…but I don’t have that problem.

No dead pixels.

It arrived in about a week, on the exact day that it was expected.

So far, no complaints but if I find one I’ll definately update this.

The shipper had very good things to say about Amazon’s return policy. Hopefully I won’t have to try that out…but it was one of my concerns. Seems like I can return it within 30 days for any reason (including I’m just not happy).

Picture’s Great.

The only thing I find annoying is that having both digital and analog signals i can’t scroll thru all the channels. if i start on digital the next channel which comes up will be digital, if i start in analog it’ll stay on the analog only side unless i manually enter a digital number.

And as usual with any large item I’ve ordered thru Amazon, the box was pretty beaten up when it arrived. So much so that I actually had the deliver person open it up and inspect it with me. Fortunately, all the packing styrofoam (which had all broken up) did it job, and all was good.

I bought this TV which is my second TV for the bedroom. My first one is Samsung. Found the specs to be good for the price it was being sold. Upon delivery the delivery man from Pilot informed that because the stand does not come installed and required assembly he would not be setting up the TV. This is not mentioned anywhere on the product details page. Second the delivery guy tried to get away by just dumping the TV at my door step and refused to take it upstairs to the bed room.

When he gave the papers to sign I pointed out to the line where it said he had to take it and put in any room the customer wishes. Grudgingly he did. I have ZERO RATING FOR PILOT DELIVERY FOR TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE ON ME.

Once I installed the TV came up good and picture quality seems good as well. Rating: 3 / 5

You people must be blind! this tv picture qulity was JUST……….. UGGGGHHLLYYYY!!! I’m so pissed! I knew I should have went with a plasma! You MORONS that praise these turd LCD “Low Class Definition” TV’s are green peace freaks and tweed smokers!
